Not only conspiracy
freaks and left wing liberal wisenheimers are predicting that a coming
terrorist attack will be used to alter the election. Even former
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said she thought a bin Laden October
Surprise orchestrated by Bush was “a possibility.”
Targets are numerous: The Capitol building, nuclear power plants, shopping
malls in Kansas, the Salvation Army, or maybe your house will all be declared
valid targets during the much anticipated Red Alert week before the election.
Because the terrorist can strike anywhere, anytime, this long-time freaked-out
nation will be wigging out too hard to make any rational or logical decisions.
Ashcroft will ensure total intimidation of your senses.

“
I just wake up in the morning and tell myself, ‘There’s been
a military coup [in the US],’ and then it all makes sense,’ said
one veteran US foreign service officer.”6
The establishment believes a massive terrorist strike would boost the flagging
political standing of the Bush administration, possibly leading to election
suspension and the establishment of military rule. The U.S. military is
actively preparing for this possibility by readying troops for use in domestic
policing
and by assembling a database of likely political opponents. What else is
the Patriot Act for?
Three commentaries published recently in the U.S. media, all by well-connected
U.S. military observers, have suggested that a major new terrorist attack
in the U.S. could disrupt the 2004 elections, resulting in military intervention
on our streets and Constitution suspension. The most disturbing of them
can be found on the right-wing web news service Newsmax.com, which published
an account of an interview with General Tommy Franks in lifestyle magazine
Cigar Aficionado.
Franks said that a terrorist attack employing a weapon of mass destruction
and causing mass casualties, either in the U.S. or against an ally, would
likely result in replacing the American Constitution with a military government.
As the commander of CentCom, Franks led U.S. forces in the conquest of
Afghanistan in 2001 and the invasion of Iraq earlier this year, before
retiring during
the summer. In his magazine interview, he specifically outlined this scenario: “It
means the potential of a weapon of mass destruction and a terrorist, massive,
casualty-producing event somewhere in the Western world—it may be in
the United States of America—that causes our population to question
our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid
a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins
to unravel the fabric of our Constitution.”7

Though many are viewing the RNC as the last massive public stand against
the Bush junta before the election, we see it as the most likely target
of a threat of terrorist attack.
Step one: Minor attack or scare of an attack at the Republican National
Convention. This will allow Bush to use the “enemies of America will not stop us” type
speeches.
Step two: FBI discovers “links” to Al-Qaida through these attacks.
This allows Bush to “tighten security” and raise the threat
level.
Step three: A declaration by the FBI that there is now evidence of a VAST
network in the USA and that they are targeting the elections. Tied together
with step two, it allows the government to have security patrols at the election
areas.
Step four: These “security patrols” will stop ethnic men and
women from voting for the most minor of reasons or “mistakes” on
the voting registration. By keeping it a purely white-bread vote on election
day, Bush is assured victory. When it’s later revealed how many people
were denied the chance to vote, it’ll be too late and Bush will
have started his second term. But he will promise to hold a hearing on
the matter
in 2007.
The
Bushes and bin Ladens need each other in order to maintain their power
and position. These families have business ties and friendships
that go back
decades, from back when the junior Bush was a fledgling screw-up
and got start-up money for his ultimately failing oil business from
the bin Ladens.8
The theory goes that bin Laden is alive and well in Pakistan and
will acquire nuclear weapons most likely from the Soviet Union, although
homemade dirty
bombs and chemical and biological weapons could also do the job nicely.
The devastating attack against America preceding the election would
be made not
to unseat Bush, but to keep him in power. Bush is the best recruitment
tool for the Al Quaida network. By mounting an attack it will rally
the country
around the president and keep the Republicans in power.
From a story in The Guardian. June 19, 2004:
“
A senior US intelligence official [called anonymous] is about to publish
a bitter condemnation of America’s counter-terrorism policy, arguing
that the West is losing the war against Al Quaida and that an ‘avaricious,
premeditated, unprovoked’ war in Iraq has played into Osama bin Laden’s
hands.
“
Anonymous, who published an analysis of al-Qaida last year called ‘Through
Our Enemies’ Eyes,’ thinks it quite possible that another
devastating strike against the U.S. could come during the election
campaign, not with
the intention of changing the administration, as was the case in
the Madrid bombing, but of keeping the same one in place.
“’
I’m very sure they can’t have a better administration for them
than the one they have now,’ he said.
“
One way to keep the Republicans in power is to mount an attack that would
rally the country around the president.”9
